For OHP Clients:

Private Pay

We accept private pay for all sessions. See our rates listed above for details. We securely keep a card on file and charge it at the end of each session.

Out-of-Network Insurance Benefits

If I am not in-network with your insurance, you may still be able to use your out-of-network benefits to receive partial reimbursement for therapy sessions. Many PPO plans offer this option.

Here’s how it works:

  1. You pay for sessions directly.
At the time of service, you’ll pay the full session fee.

  2. You receive a superbill.
I’ll provide a monthly statement (called a superbill) that includes the information your insurance company needs to process reimbursement.

  3. You submit the superbill to your insurance.
You’ll send this document to your insurance provider - either online or by mail - to request reimbursement.

  4. Your insurance reimburses you directly.
If your plan includes out-of-network mental health coverage, your insurance company will reimburse you for a portion of the fee, depending on your plan’s deductible and reimbursement rate.

Sliding Scale

Access to therapy is extremely important to us. We reserve a number of sliding scale sessions on an individualized basis – please contact us if you would like more information on this.

Good Faith Estimates

What is it?

A Good Faith Estimate is for people:

  • Not enrolled in an insurance plan/coverage or a Federal healthcare program;
  • Not planning  to file a claim with their current plan or coverage
  • Plan to pay out of pocket for services

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost from your provider.

Why is this important?

If you receive a bill that is $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For more information, you can visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
