Well, it’s been a long time coming. We first met working at a residential eating disorder facility as recovery coaches where we instantly clicked as coworkers and friends. Throughout this experience we both realized that we shared a passion for supporting others through difficult times, and we both knew that we wanted to make a career out of this passion. Fast forward a couple years, we both attended graduate school together for counseling.
We both have our different niches that inspire us to do this work. Megan primarily works with clients with OCD, anxiety, eating disorders, and those navigating various life transitions. Jenette enjoys working with individuals & couples that are navigating challenges in their relationships, dating/attachment, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. One big thing we have in common is our belief that relationships can be the ultimate healer. We have experienced that through our friendship, and is ultimately what inspired us to go into business together. We believe that the client/counselor relationship is of utmost importance in the healing process, and both strive to create an environment that is supportive and safe because that’s where we believe growth/change can occur. In order to ensure that the counseling space is safe for all we make sure to provide anti-racist, anti-ableist, trauma informed, gender affirming, Health At Every Size informed counseling. Both of us are happy to hold space to discuss/explore identity development in sessions.
We feel so grateful to be able to go into this together, and to be able to walk alongside you through your healing journey.
